  • PSAT Information

    On Wednesday, October 19th, all 9th grade students will take the PSAT 8/9 and all 10th and 11th grade students will take the PSAT/NMSQT. BHS students do not have to register or pay. All students are automatically registered to take the PSAT 8/9 or the PSAT/NMSQT.

    Non-BHS students wishing to take the PSAT at BHS may do so by completing this Google form.

  • Senior TSI Administration

    The next senior TSI will be on Friday, December 16th. Registration fee is $15.00 and you will need to sign up with Ms. Knight in the Academic Office.

  • Pep Rally on Friday

    On Friday, November 17, 2017 there will be a Pep Rally during 7th period. Students will be released by announcement from 7th period & will report back to 7th period for announcements and bell. The Pep Rally will be from 2:30-3:00 in the arena. BHS will be on a regular bell schedule all day.

    Your Lady Elk volleyball teams had an amazing season. Along with that they have received some amazing awards! District 9-5A volleyball awards:

  • Student Council & FCCLA Service Project

    Student Council and FCCLA are partnering with Harvest House this year to collect donations for teenagers in our community. Suggestions for items include books, movies, CDs, jewelry, gift cards, etc. Bring any donations unwrapped to rooms 110, 114, 115 or the bin in the cafeteria. We will collect donations until December 4th!

    Tues. 10/24 = Give Drugs the Boot – Wear Western wear

    Wed. 10/25 = Don’t Get Mixed Up in Drugs – Wear mismatched clothes

    Thurs. 10/26 = Lei Off Drugs – Wear your Hawaiian shirt and/or lei

    Fri. 10/27 = Wear Red. Take the Pledge to be Drug-Free

  • Fall Theatre Performace

    Join us for the BHS Fall Play this Thursday and Saturday at 7:00 pm and Sunday at 2:30 pm. Tickets are $5 at the door. We hope to see you there!

  • Swim Team Results

    The boys swim team placed 8th and the ladies placed 11th out of 20 teams in the Arlington Invitational last weekend. Swimmers who qualified for the Frisco Invitational in additional events include: Jacob Coursey, Isa Galoob, Jack Hotchkiss, Jaden Griffin, Amelia Flug, Payton Brown, Jolie Donald, Aaliyah Young, Kendall Kirk, and Ethan Brown. Our next meet is this Thursday in Cleburne against Midway and Cleburne.

  • Region Choir Results

    The Burleson H.S. Choir department hosted the Region 30 Region Choir and 9/10 Honor Choir Auditions this past weekend. We had approximately 850 students from around the area involved the audition. We are proud to announce that the following honor choir results:

    Hailee Williams, Soprano 1, placed in the District Choir.

    We had eight students place in the 9/10 Honor Choir. They are:
