  • PSAT Information

    On Wednesday, October 19th, all 9th grade students will take the PSAT 8/9 and all 10th and 11th grade students will take the PSAT/NMSQT. BHS students do not have to register or pay. All students are automatically registered to take the PSAT 8/9 or the PSAT/NMSQT.

    Non-BHS students wishing to take the PSAT at BHS may do so by completing this Google form.

  • Swim Team Results

    The boys swim team placed 8th and the ladies placed 11th out of 20 teams in the Arlington Invitational last weekend. Swimmers who qualified for the Frisco Invitational in additional events include: Jacob Coursey, Isa Galoob, Jack Hotchkiss, Jaden Griffin, Amelia Flug, Payton Brown, Jolie Donald, Aaliyah Young, Kendall Kirk, and Ethan Brown. Our next meet is this Thursday in Cleburne against Midway and Cleburne.

  • Region Choir Results

    The Burleson H.S. Choir department hosted the Region 30 Region Choir and 9/10 Honor Choir Auditions this past weekend. We had approximately 850 students from around the area involved the audition. We are proud to announce that the following honor choir results:

    Hailee Williams, Soprano 1, placed in the District Choir.

    We had eight students place in the 9/10 Honor Choir. They are:

  • Battle of the Bowl

    Battle of the Boot is next week and Student Council has started their annual collection of soup cans for the Battle of the Bowl competition with CHS.  Please bring any can of soup or bonus item of brownie mix to Room 110, 114, 115, or the bin in the cafeteria today through the 20th. We want to beat CHS in collections this year, but most importantly help Harvest House restock their shelves!

  • Tennis District Champions

    Varsity tennis finished up the regular season as undefeated district champions! They beat Crowley 19-0 making that 4 shut outs for the season. Playoffs start in 2 weeks. Wins included Joe O’Brien, Connor Williams, Devin Ricardson, Kole Bacon, Tanner Robertson, Levi Porter, Garrett Brooks, Cole Channon, Brinley Brown, Hali Dinwiddie, Alexis Baker, Naomi Mitchell, Deanna Zaragoza, Neely Huskisson, Katie Kirkpatrick, Urvi Dalal, and Hallee Richardson.

  • Volleyball Results

    Your Lady Elk volleyball teams played Seguin Friday night! All 4 lady elk teams beat Seguin. Varsity won in 3. 25-6, 25-14, 25-17. Jailah Ivory had 12 kills, Sarah Reid had 8 kills, and Mia Smalls had 20 assists. Thanks for coming out to support your Lady Elks. On Tuesday your Lady Elks play Centennial at Centennial, come out and support your Lady Elks across town. 9A & JV play at 5:30 and 9B & Varsity play at 6:30pm. *ALSO, Mia Smalls is up for Star Telegram volleyball player of the week-get on twitter and vote for our own Mia Smalls*
